# Multiple Choice

Let respondents pick exactly one option from a radio-button list.

Useful for mutually exclusive choices (preferred plan, primary reason, single preference).

## Options

1. Add a **Multiple Choice** question.
2. Use **Add Option** or **Bulk Add** to create choices.
3. Drag to reorder.
4. Optionally enable **Randomize Options**, and **Exclude from randomization** for fixed items when needed.

For multi-select answers, use [Checkbox](https://docs.voiceform.com/docs/checkbox) instead. For long lists, consider [Dropdown](https://docs.voiceform.com/docs/dropdown).

## Common properties

Like other question types, you can set question text and description, mark the question optional, assign a variable name, add [logic actions](https://docs.voiceform.com/docs/logic-and-actions), and attach images, audio, or video.
