Survey Publishing

We are excited to introduce a new feature in Voiceform that allows you to publish changes to your surveys. This enhancement addresses the need for a safer environment for survey creators to make adjustments to live surveys. With this new capability, any changes made to a survey will not immediately impact the live version. Instead, the changes will only take effect once they are published, ensuring greater control and stability.

Usage Instructions

To publish a survey, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Survey Builder: Open the survey builder where you create and edit your surveys.
  2. Locate the Survey Preview Section: This section is found in the middle of the screen.
  3. Find the “Publish” Button: Look at the top right corner of the screen to find the “Publish” button.
  4. Hover Over the “Publish” Button: Move your mouse cursor over the “Publish” button to trigger a dropdown menu.
  5. Select “Publish Survey” or “Re-publish Survey”: In the menu, click on “Publish Survey” for new surveys or “Re-publish Survey” if it has been published before.
  6. Confirm Publication: A loading spinner will appear, followed by a green popup at the bottom left of the screen with a success message.

All new survey will require publishing before sharing them.

Beginning June 17, 2024, all newly created surveys will require publishing before launching. This means that if a survey was created after June 17, 2024 and has not been published, respondents will encounter an error message stating that "The survey is unpublished" if they access a shareable link. Surveys created before June 17, 2024 will not throw an error, but any new changes will not apply to them until they are also published.
