We're excited to introduce Transcript Normalization, a new AI-powered feature that automatically improves the quality of your voice form transcripts!

What is Transcript Normalization?

Transcript Normalization uses advanced AI to enhance your speech-to-text results by:

Fixing grammar and punctuation errors
Normalizing speech patterns (like "um", "uh", "you know") into proper language
Maintaining the original meaning and intent of the response
Preserving the original language (no translation)
Keeping responses concise and clear

How It Works

When enabled, this feature processes your raw transcripts through our AI model to produce cleaner, more readable text while preserving the respondent's original meaning and language.

Example Transformation

Before Normalization:

um so yeah i think the customer service was like really good you know they helped me with my problem and stuff

After Normalization:

I think the customer service was really good. They helped me with my problem.

How to Enable

Go to your survey's Settings page
Look for the "Normalize Transcript (Beta)" option
Toggle it on to enable transcript normalization
Save your survey

Important Notes

Beta Feature: This is currently in beta testing
Survey-Level Control: You can enable/disable this feature per survey
Small Delay: Adds a brief delay to AI probing responses due to additional processing
Language Preservation: Works with all supported languages and maintains the original language
Fallback: If normalization fails, the original transcript is preserved
