Email Notifications

Submission Notification

When this setting is enabled, all team members will receive an email notification upon the submission and processing of a survey.

To enable this setting:

  1. Open the survey builder.

  2. In the right-side panel, find and select the “Settings” tab.

  3. Scroll down to the “Email Notifications” section.

  4. Locate the “Receive Submission Notification” option and select the checkbox.

Once this setting is enabled, team members will receive notifications for each survey submission.

Doesn’t require re-publishing

When the setting is saved, you won’t need to re-publish the survey. The changes will be applied right away.


Submission Confirmation

The respondent will receive an email confirming that the survey was successfully submitted after its processing.

Email question is required

To ensure email confirmations can be sent to respondents, your survey must include at least one email question. By default, the system will use the last email question input to send the confirmation. Please make sure to add an email question to your survey.

Alternatively, the shareable link may contain an email query parameter. Example:https://app.voiceform.com/mysurveyhash/[email protected]

Enabling Notification

  1. Go to the survey builder page.

  2. On the left-side panel, go to the "Settings" tab.

  3. Scroll to the "Email Notifications" section.

  4. Find the "Submission Confirmation" property. Click on it.

  5. A popup dialog should open.

  6. In the top of the popup, find the "Enable Confirmation Email Notification" switch and turn it on.

  7. In the top left corner of the popup hit "Save"

Once this setting is enabled, respondents will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission and processing of their survey.

Email Customization

In the popup dialog, you will find the following customization options:

  • Email Subject: Customize the subject line of the confirmation email. (Default Submission Confirmation )
  • Email Message: Customize the message that will be included in the email. (Default Submission Confirmation )
  • Voiceform Branding: Toggle to include or exclude Voiceform branding in the email. (💎 Available in the paid plan)
  • Include AI Summary: Toggle to include an AI-generated summary in the email. (💎 If your plan has results summarization)
  • Top Banner Color: Customize the color of the top banner in the email. (Default #2341E0)
  • Top Left Logo: Add a logo to the top left corner of the email. (💎 Available in the paid plan)
  • Top Left Logo Link: Provide a website URL link that will be associated with the top left logo. (💎 Available in the paid plan)
  • Footer Logo: Add a logo to the footer of the email. (💎 Available in the paid plan)
  • Footer Logo Link: Provide a website URL link that will be associated with the footer logo. (💎 Available in the paid plan)

Testing Email

This section allows you to preview and validate the confirmation email setup before it's sent to survey respondents.









  1. Enter Email: Type your email address in the provided field to receive the test confirmation email.
  2. Send Test: Click "Send Test Email" to dispatch a test email to the address you provided.
