Custom Field

Collect open-ended text with a flexible text field.

In the builder this appears as Custom Field. Use it for short answers that are not a name, email, or phone number.

Setup

1. Add a Custom Field question.
2. Enter the question text.
3. Optionally add a description with examples of the expected answer format.

For longer qualitative feedback, prefer Voice Response.

Common properties

Like other question types, you can set question text and description, mark the question optional, assign a variable name, add logic actions, and attach images, audio, or video.
