Email

Collect an email address with email-format validation.

Useful for contact capture, follow-up, and features that need a respondent email (such as submission confirmation).

Setup

1. Add an Email question.
2. Set the question text (for example, “What is your email address?”).
3. Publish and test that invalid emails are rejected.

Tip

You can also pass email as a URL query parameter on the share link when you already know the respondent’s address.

Common properties

Like other question types, you can set question text and description, mark the question optional, assign a variable name, add logic actions, and attach images, audio, or video.
