Dropdown

Offer a single choice from a compact dropdown list.

Useful for longer option lists (countries, departments, categories) where radio buttons would take too much space.

Options

1. Add a Dropdown question.
2. Under Options, click Add Option or Bulk Add to create choices.
3. Drag options to reorder.
4. Optionally enable Randomize Options.
5. If randomization is on, use Exclude from randomization to keep specific options fixed (for example “Other”).

Respondents select exactly one option.

Common properties

Like other question types, you can set question text and description, mark the question optional, assign a variable name, add logic actions, and attach images, audio, or video.
