Name

Collect a respondent’s name in a dedicated text field.

Use this when you want a clear name field in results and exports (separate from a generic text question).

Setup

1. Add a Name question.
2. Edit the question text (for example, “What is your full name?”).
3. Optionally add a description with extra instructions.

Responses are stored as text and can be referenced with the question’s variable name.

Common properties

Like other question types, you can set question text and description, mark the question optional, assign a variable name, add logic actions, and attach images, audio, or video.
